St Joseph’s Nudgee College is running an individual chess tournament. All junior chess players in high school and primary school are welcome.

Drop Off: 9:00-9:15
Pick Up 3:30-3:45
Intermediate & Novice
Registration: 10:00-10:30
Pick Up: 2:45-3:15
Beginner
Registration: 10:30-11:00
Pick Up: 2:15-2:30
What to Bring: A hat and a drink bottle.
Prizes: Open Division – 1st, $150 – 2nd, $50 – 3rd, $30 Trophies in Open and Intermediate. Medals in Novice and Beginner.
Divisions:
Open: Players rated above 900. 20min plus 5 sec per move.
Intermediate: Players rated 900 and below. 15min per side.
Novice: Players rated 600 and below and unrated players 15 min per side.
Beginner: Unrated players years 3 and below. 25min then adjudication.
